Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 2025
Our commitment
NASIOU is committed to making its content accessible to the widest possible audience, including readers with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Measures we take
We use semantic HTML so that screen readers can interpret the structure of each page.
Images that convey information include descriptive alt text.
We test our colour palette against WCAG contrast ratios for body text and interface controls.
Interactive elements are operable using keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
We avoid using motion-based content that cannot be paused, and we respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting where possible.
Known limitations
Some older articles in our archive may contain images without complete alt text. We are updating these as we revise the content. Embedded third-party content (such as map or media providers) may not meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of the Site.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site or have suggestions for improvement, please contact NASIOU LLC at 2139 Lantern Ridge Dr, Richmond, KY 40475, United States, or by phone on +1 859-624-4671. We aim to respond within five working days.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a fixed destination. We review our Site regularly and incorporate accessibility considerations into our editorial and design workflows.
